The Best Time of Year for a Vegas Bachelor or Bachelorette Party

When to go to Vegas for a bachelor or bachelorette party — month by month on weather, crowds, pool season, and prices — so you pick the weekend that fits your group and budget.

"When should we go?" is the first real decision of any Vegas bachelor or bachelorette party — and it drives weather, crowds, and price more than anything else. Here's how to pick the right window for your group.

The big trade-off: pool season vs. price

Vegas has two levers pulling against each other. Pool season (roughly March–October) is when dayclubs run and the city feels like the Vegas in the photos — but it's also peak demand and peak price. Off-season (November–February) is cheaper and calmer, but the pools mostly close and it can be genuinely cold at night. Most bachelor/bachelorette groups want the pool, so spring and early fall are the sweet spots.

Month by month

  • March–May (sweet spot): Warm, pools open, comfortable nights, energy building. Spring is arguably the best all-around window — great weather without peak-summer brutality.
  • June–August (peak pool, peak heat): Maximum pool-party energy and the biggest DJ lineups, but daytime heat is extreme and prices are at their highest. Great if the pool is the whole point and the budget allows.
  • September–October (sweet spot): Heat eases, pools still running, crowds thin slightly. Another excellent window.
  • November–February (cheap & calm): The best prices and smallest crowds, but pools are largely closed and nights are cold. Better for a nightlife-and-dining trip than a pool trip.

Day of the week matters as much as the month

  • Saturday is the most expensive night, everywhere — tables, pools, hotels all peak.
  • Weeknights and Sundays can cost a fraction of the same Saturday, with the same venues.
  • A Thursday–Sunday or a mid-week stretch often gets you the experience at a much lower price than Friday–Monday.

Watch the calendar spikes

Certain weekends send prices through the roof regardless of season — major holidays, big fight nights, huge conventions, festival weekends, and special events fill the city and spike hotel and table rates. If you're budget-conscious, check what's happening in town on your dates and avoid the mega-events unless that's specifically what you want.

How to choose, fast

  1. Pool a must? → April–May or September–October.
  2. Tight budget, pool optional? → late fall or winter, mid-week.
  3. Maximum party energy, budget flexible? → summer.
  4. Always check for event spikes on your exact weekend, and lean toward Sunday/weeknight nights to save.

Let us time it right

The right week and the right nights can swing your total cost dramatically — and we watch the calendar (events, peak nights, pool season) for exactly this.
